A Higher-Order Loss-separation Model for Fast Estimation of Core Loss in High-frequency Transformers

The core loss calculation is important for the design and performance evaluation of high-frequency transformers. It related to dimensions, temperature rises performance, operating efficiency transformer designs. Some scholars have examined correlation between characteristics losses, such as air gap length structure; some investigations also analyzed effects harmonics, distortion flux, other factors on losses. However, in reality, environment transformers very complex, achieving required accuracy model calculations difficult. This paper discussed insufficiency classical Bertotti separation estimating under non-sinusoidal excitation Based derivation modification model, magnetic test platform nanocrystalline material was established. In order obtain a higher-order correction method trapezoidal wave excitation, experimentally measured curves materials were further corrected. Finally, verified by changing results varying rise time constant.
